Zebra finch...

...I know this is a Sparrow but this morning one of my Zebra finches passed away, he was about 8/9 years old. I used to have a small aviary with various small birds and over the years the numbers reduced naturally, we brought the last few birds indoors a couple of years ago as they were getting old. I now only have one zebra finch, one weaver (he's at least 15 years old) and a canary. At lunchtime while walking up to the town I heard the sparrows chirping up in the hedgerow so took a quick shot.
