Dear Charlotte

Yesterday was my dear friend Charlotte's 86th birthday....so i took her out for lunch today, to the fabulous Black Spoon.   We had a splendid time, lunch was delicious...and then when she ordered a piece of cake, i mentioned it was her birthday and they brought the cake out with a candle on it!   she was thrilled!!!  Charlotte is such an inspiration to me....20 years my senior and an artist....it is so fabulous to witness a woman in her 80's still so vibrant and able minded!   she swims everyday down at the pool and walks all over Baddeck!   She's a trouper for sure!

Then we high tailed it up to Sydney, i had a dr.'s appointment, nothing serious, just a check up...then the big event!   I've booked our trip to Cuba...wooo hooo!   March 22nd off to Caya Coco, i'm so excited!
