black and white

I've been playing around with black and white photography for the past couple of days. I only have an iPhone, so the quality is unfortunately not the best, but I just discovered I can filter the lenses before I take it, which is rather novel to me. I always assumed I had to filter the picture after it was snapped, which I realize now severely limited the possibilities. I am enjoying being able to look at the black and white image to find the best angle before I take it. 

Black and white photography has always intrigued me, the way it allows you to focus on just a few details, the light play, or texture for instance.

It's the little things, right?
