Flower Friday . . . Twist of LOVE

Today this song was played on the radio to mark the fact it's 58 years since Buddy Holly died.  I thought the words fitted in with the twist for FF.  The image of a wild carrot is not your usual romantic flower.  I love it in all it's stages. I would be happy with a bunch of wild flowers or weeds if you prefer as a romantic gesture.  I think this stage is called an  umbel before it opens into a bright, white flower.
We have a three day weekend to celebrate The Treaty of Waitangi.  Holidays aren't  so important to the newly retired when everyday is a holiday.
