turning japanese

Not only is Eldest Son starting university in Glasgow next week, but a few days later, Daughter will fly to Japan for a whole year, to learn the language at a uni in Fukuoka. The nest is going to be pretty empty. I've tried not to think about it too much until now, but it's getting unavoidable as we start to make travel arrangements and think about packing.

Peace and quiet are not quite here yet, though....Eldest Son has invited 4 of his friends to stay tomorrow night.
