Amadeus

Last night Pam treated me to a visit to the National Theatre, London, to see Peter Shaffer's play 'Amadeus'.  Of course, we didn't have to go down to London, we could see it live at the DCA Cinema in Dundee!  What a wonderful play  -  this was the best review I could find.  I've spent most of this morning looking at reviews of Michael Longhurst's production.  I really wanted to find out why Longhurst cast Msamati as Salieri, but found no clues. He got mostly rave reviews whereas Adam Gillen who played Mozart got mixed reviews.  Personally, I found Msamati a bit boring whereas Gillen was a great Mozart. The lighting for the scenes were terrific. My blip is part of the program. A great evening  -  thank you, Pam.
