Snapshots from Oswaldtwistle.
The morning was calmer than the gustiness of the evening before.
So I did some housework and then dashed to get on the 11:32 am train.
I visited the Garden Centre at Oswaldtwistle Mills and bought three small heathers for only £1.
I browsed awhile, avoiding many temptations in The Works. I walked up to Rhyddings Park and St. Mary's Church where there were many lovely snowdrops in flower. It was sunny, breezy and pleasant as I strolled back along Union Street and bought some flower tubs from a florist.
When I got home, Arthur must have wondered where I had got to, and I fed him his prawns and moist Sheba sachet that he loves.
I re potted the heathers and also up potted a Cottoneaster.
Cleared up some litter that the wind had blown in and then watched Pioneer Woman on the food Network. She lives on a range in America and makes some wonderful meals. She was making a fantastic afternoon tea this time. I must look for her new cookery book on Amazon.
Have a great weekend, and I hope the weather is kind to you, blipper friends.
Food for thought.
