Home for the de Moravia family...

built originally  in wood in the twelfth century and replaced by stone in the eighteenth. This was when they realised that stone did not settle on a mound as wood had and the north wall slid down the bank! Clearly seen on the right.
A beautiful sunny warm day.
Heard the first Skylarks of the year singing here at Duffus.
