I had to look this story up - someone put a tarantula out with the rubbish, and a kindly stranger took it to the SPCA. Not quite as exciting as it sounds...

For the first time in years I am now sitting in front of the telly with broadband! The wireless never worked in the old house....

Incidentally, I have fixed the car radio this evening - I'm feeling a bit smug.
