Day 28: Clock

This was taken in a busy cafe kitchen in Nottingham. They did seem to be making hinge more work than was needed. Too many cooks spoiling the broth and all that. I didn't get any butter with my toast, my friends tea got forgotten but thankfully by the time they remembered and brought it over, they then forgot to put it on the bill. The food was nice too.

I went to notts to meet some friends today. We are all at opposite ends of the country so Nottingham seemed like a good central location to meet. We didn't get long there but what I saw I liked do hopefully I'll get a chance to return soon.

Was lovely catching up with friends. Just chatting away. Shame we had to watch the clock (see photo) a lot to make sure we got our return journey home in time.

The girls have been to Gullivers Land for a party today. We picked them up and they had very blue faces from the ice cream they had. Sounded great fun. Only a tiny bit jealous! ;-)
