Despite having glanced around at one point at the moon on my way home yesterday and declared "OOH MARS" to the other people in the wee red cycle stop-box I forgot by the time I got into the house and so didn't drag the piggies out to look at it until I remembered this evening and glanced out to find the clouds mostly out of the way. Edgar even seemed to be listening when I explained the various positions and sizes and so forth. I must have uninstalled the orrery app I used to have but found another a bit later but stopped short of trying to fish out the one-pixel-moon illustration to try and impress upon him the extent to which the orrery misrepresents scale.
