I'm keeping my eye on you....

A busy day and evening. My friend Janet came round this afternoon. She had been to see the cancer consultant yesterday and received news that she didn't want to hear. She will have her bladder removed, probably in March. It will be a difficult and long recovery for her.

My other friends all rallied round and we had a meal at Natalie's house with everyone bringing something to share. We talked about Janet's forthcoming trip to India- the consultant has advised her to go and enjoy the experience. Hopefully it took her mind off things for a few hours.
