in a frozen tundra

of ice & snow on trees & bushes wherever you look - creating nothing but a locked in feeling of silence - it is a beauty which has fallen over the landscape - quickly and suddenly, taking my breath away

shots like this always do that - the fog falls encasing everything causing ice to form - then snow begins to drop in these tiny spurts - covering the ice turning it all into this wonderful glorious blanket of white - and when you look at the trees they almost appear to have - these little snowballs on the ends of their branches - it's the coolest effect which nature has done, so clever - especially when from a distance you can be fooled at what you're seeing

i love how nature has taken something which might be construed - by we humans as so awful and turned it into that which is utterly stunning - to the naked eye, that which we could never, would never have been able to imagine ourselves - yet here is putting it on display for our delight, so we might have...
