Lake Hawea

Started the day by having coffee with the blippers l met yesterday plus some others; we met at Waters Edge resort right on the lake in Wanaka. It was lovely to chat and pick up local info.
This afternoon M and l drove out to Lake Hawea (in photo) and on up towards the top of Lake Wanaka. The lakes are all a terrific blue - a reflection of the beautiful blue, blue skies? It has become quite blowy once again (l have never known so much wind in NZ) and so taking it easy for the rest of afternoon before heading out for a glass of something chilly before supper.
