A sunny, yet windy day. But the garden covered in butterflies (about time too). This red admiral was sunning himself on the stone wall. I'm not sure what I did to the camera in order to take this... I was fiddling, I like a good old fiddle with cameras & I tweaked that button there & tweaked that button over t here & took down the f-stop & made that bit brighter & that bit sharper &, oh, how did that happen? No post edit... all camera, it's photoshop on your camera if you know what you're doing I don't

As for my lovely darling robin, it's his one year on blip - go & congratulate him, he deserves it, think of him having a camera stuck in his face daily, patient guy that he is!

Larry's year

I've had one of those days today. Missing my mum so badly, I saw her, saw flickers in the corner of my eyes, felt her beside me & the tears came so easily today. But least when I think of her, she's always smiling & I hope that memory never fades xxx
