Cup 'o gold

My mother's favorite flower.   Went up Tantalus today to get a wide angle view of the vog which has blanketed our state as the winds have turned kona and brought volcano smog across the state.  Should last until about Monday, when a new front moves in bringing 30 knot tradewinds back.
My mother loved this flower and recreated it in her ceramics class of long ago.   I haven't seen it in years and it is still a gorgeous vine.
Took a view of Diamond Head showing no horizon, and up Manoa Valley looking like it was raining.   But this one won out  . . .
