Friends

This is a shot from the day I went out with my friends from last year. It was just the instant of me turning over to Ece and saying, "maybe this'll make a nice shot." Certainly, it did not. That's a topic for later, however. My intent was to picture the symmetry and the dull colours. However, because I tried to be discrete and not stop and take a shot, it ended up as a quick one and isn't the sharpest. If I happen to be there again, I'll definitely wait for the next train and get that shot. It's been quite a while since I took a picture that I'm proud of. And it is very uninspiring to hate every picture, but it means I'm progressing with my skills and maybe getting a better aesthetic vision. Aesthetic vision is key, but the progression also is tempting me to delete every single post from my instagram account...


Although I'm not liking the product currently, I liked the shot in my head at that moment. It was cool, but could be cooler if it was a boomerang. Anyways, I liked it because I was happy, genuine and purely happy, with a friend next to me, and inspired to do what I love. And in doing that, maybe I should take more pictures. Not for the sake of posting them online or taking pics for a friend, but for the sole purpose of documenting a moment and a place well with great aesthetic.
