Croyde Bay

Had the most fabulous day out with hubby and lads - went to Ilfracome which was totally lovely (I cannot believe I have never been there before) it is the most lovely town, a mixture of many things I love in a lot of our South West towns - a lovely harbour, a couple of little beaches, a small pier to walk to the end of, which is a great place for people to fish and children to try to catch crabs, it has some pretty gardens, a nice walk along part of the South West Coast Path and of course the usual collection of tourist shops (fudge, ice cream - yum, yum).

On the way home we stopped at Croyde Bay (I took this photo from the road on the hill overlooking the bay, just loved the clouds) we then had a walk along the beach, (this is another place I have visited for the first time today, how shortsighten of me, it's such a lovely beach (although not dog friendly so Meg can't play there - boo) and I shall definitely come there again, complete with picnic and blanket to sit on.
