A woodbecker

I took a walk on forest. Visited first time an island at local lake. It is easy access over ice. On summer time you have to use boat. There was lot of rotten wood and a woodbecker was working there. I sit down on forest about hour to wait to see some animal. No rabbit, no fox and no deer.  There was lot of footprints, so the forest is not desert. However, it was relaxing time just watching winter forest.
