Way to Bothie
It is Sunday. Weather forecast is promising almost no rain so I'm off to find my first bothie. Unfortunately I wasn't able to find sleeping mat so I decided to stay over night in my car.
Walk started with very steep climb (I'm so not used to this anymore) and after that I missed path to bothie (there was path on the map and even sign on the side of the main path but once I started walking there I was sinking up to my knees in mud every 10 feet.
Anyway I got bored typing so there is the short version of the rest of the journey:
Got to the bothie. I give it 5 stars. Loads of rooms, some leather chairs and nice big sleeping platform.
Then I carried on walking and seen some amazing waterfalls.
Then I had another very very steep climb uphill. By the time I got to the top the sun was going down.
By the time I got to the point where I need to walk off the mountain it was really dark.
Then I had 20 minute walk down the road with sheep running away from me. (they probably thought I was stalking them) And the at last i got back to my car and started to do night photography with a bottle of port.
Nothing can be better than being tired after walk in the mountains having something stronger to drink and taking photos in total darkness. I must admit staying in the bothie would be much nicer but thats for next time.
I also done a little Video
