Forth Crossing Works

Quite a lot going on in this photo, taken early-ish in the morning on the way to work.

On the water, something is happening at what will eventually become a support for the new bridge. And at the left-hand edge, a second support is being lowered into the water. At the right-hand edge of the picture, a water-borne JCB appears to be scraping mud from the riverbed and loading it into another vessel.

The grass in the foreground appears dark and damp, but in the very centre of the picture a little blue flower lightens the mood.
