Steampunkers and Steam Trains

Had a great day out today with a number of other blippers at the National Railway Museum in York where there was a Steampunk event.
I have never come across one of these Steampunk events before, but what a fascinating crowd of people showing off their eccentric and extravagant outfits. Fortunately, they also love being on front of cameras!
These two are posing in front of the famous Stephenson's Rocket.

For all you Steam Locomotive fanatics, today's extra is one of the gleaming blue Mallard which set the steam locomotive world speed record of 126mph in 1938. When in service, I'm sure these magnificent machines were far from gleaming, but rather filthy.
