Hen and chicks

I have been using the iPhone today to make photos in black and white..challenging myself to see light and shadows and all the shades in between for 1day12pics on Instagram sponsored by A Year with My Camera, Emma Davies.  One photo per hour..so far it is working out.  Bright sun makes it hard to get outside photos but this one was okay. The mate to the Rooster from a week ago.    Waiting for the afternoon light now to see what I can find that will be worth a photo without color.
