River Exe view

I was on a walk with the walking group today.  It was destined to end at a well known pub, the Engine pub and brewery.  Our walk had to cross the River Exe and if the river was flooded we would have had to completely change our walk and take a bus to the pub.  Fortunately despite the heavy flooding around us we could get to the footbridge across the river. It was a lovely calm sunny day and on the way we passed a group of steaming alpacas, see extra and had great fun navigating ourselves across very muddy fields.  We were rewarded in the end with good food and drink in the pub.
