The Stena ferry

There is little long term industrial employment in Fishguard and Goodwick. but one established employer is Stena Line the ferry company. The ferry route to Ireland has been operating with the Stena Europe as its only vessel, making 2 crossings a day, of 3-3/4 hrs sailing time. The Europe has just undergone a refit which will mean this elderly ship will remain on the route for the immediate future. She had a little used mezzanine deck removed to allow her to carry the largest lorries ,and she had a respray ,and now boasts go faster stripes.
