With apologies to fans of the proclaimers, but this fixie has just today completed it's 1000th mile as my commuter.

It was recovered from impending skip and gifted to me for my 30th birthday. It's previous incarnation was something vile yet earned it's keep as a commuter.

I converted it to fixed and entered a competition on fixed gear gallery which I didn't win.

But now a 1000 miles later and it's running lovely, if a bit rustier...

Here's to the next 1000!
