Touchstone

Went to a film screening tonight about sexual assault based on the myth of Persephone and Demeter. While I enjoyed the cinematography and the context I wasn't sure I really like the end product? It makes me wonder why do I think I can't make films that enter festivals? I can tell stories in my own voice. It was uplifting. And I think this film brought people together which is cool. The stone is an exercise the forced too fast that night I would've liked to be in a safer place and have more time to meditate and connect
