Snow!

Twelve inches of snow overnight & a fairly hairy journey to Vancouver to Whistler! We passed several accidents & were very glad not to be driving. We arrived at our hotel mid afternoon, unpacked & headed out for an early dinner to celebrate hubby's 50th birthday today. I ought to have posted a blip of him but none of my phone shots were particularly flattering so here we have a picture from the hotel this morning. We're heading out for a drink now to celebrate a happy birthday in this beautiful (snowy) city!
