We are a blue and green . . .
country today. The beech forest was the green and the waters of Lake Rotoiti a blue/green and the sky completely blue with not a cloud. The temperature climbed so I was rather optimistic saying we were going to Mt Robert. We did start the Pinch Gut Track but once we left the shade of the Beech forest it was hot. We went so far and then returned the same way. The amazing thing to me was the number of people there. The top car park was full. We chatted to a united nations of trampers who all looked very happy to be experiencing the New Zealand bush.
This blip is at Lake Rotoiti where this classic boat was taking people for rides.
