Being WildCardinal...

Evening fields

Late leaving work, so the sun was setting nicely as I drove home the long way. Just outside King's Somborne there is some lovely rolling landscape which in the mornings is nicely covered in mist. I must get up early enough one morning that I'm not rushing late for work and can stop and take a picture.

The sun was setting giving a lovely golden glow with clouds scudding across quite fast. A 10-stop filter to slow everything down gave the clouds a lovely soft texture (and a grad to bring the sky in a bit).

If you look in large, you can see a strip of grass on the left of the picture leading up to the hedge (just slightly greener then the surrounding stubble). This is the path of the old Roman road from Winchester to Salisbury.
