Mr & Mrs Munro

We all went to Paul and Amanda's wedding this afternoon - Paul was an usher and Sam was playing/singing. Reception afterwards in church hall - all very relaxed and welcoming - it was obviously about their guests as much as themselves!

They both gave testimony - him about how after a pretty rough ride how he came back to God on 12th Jan 2012. And when he was getting to know Amanda she was showing him something in her journals and he asked whether she had an entry for 12th Jan 2012 (way before they met) and she did and it read - "I have a feeling someone in experiencing a breakthrough today"!

Amanda told about how way before she met Paul she felt God had promised her a man of God but found it difficult to believe sometimes. Then one day a friend gave a birthday present in a gift bag and this thought popped into her mind that the dress she would get married in would be that colour and pattern and she got a picture of what style it would be. Anyhow she tried to shrug it off but it kept coming back to her so eventually she went shopping - which for her means trawling charity shops. She would have not gone but she was meeting her friend so she got the gift bag and went. They'd gone through loads of charity shops and were about to give up. So they decided they'd go to one more then go for lunch and just call it a day - anyhow in that last shop was the exact dress, in the right size! She saw a tear in a seam so she thought to herself as she was in the changing room - if they knock it down to £5 from £10 I'll buy it... when she asked the guy said £6... or £5! Ha! So she bought it - and that's what she's wearing in this picture!
