Good Design

What is good design?

For me, good design makes you go:

"wow"

It happens so rarely. Maybe I'm just fussy. Or maybe the world really is full of average stuff.

On this occasion I was too impatient.

At the age of 28, 11 years after I bought my first one, my mobile phone made me go:

"wow"

This evening I was sat on my bed talking to Sophie tomorrow on the other side of the planet.

All with clearer reception than when she lived a mile down the road.
