Dinosaur at the Museum

We've been in Oxford for the weekend to visit our son (who is a student there) and to go to the Balliol Parent's Dinner (only at Oxford!).  We managed to fit in a bit of touristy stuff too; the Natural History Museum (where this shot was taken), the extraordinary Pitt-Rivers museum (which has an incredible number of things on display in a pretty small space, so much so that it is a bit overwhelming!) and a little exhibition in the Weston Library containing the Bodleian Library's most precious objects (including the magna carta, an original copy of a poem by Sapho, an illustration by Tolkein etc etc).

The dinner was held in beautiful surroundings (the Balliol buttery), with excellent food and company.  All in all, a very good weekend.
