Winter dusk at the Kyles of Bute

I haven't seen this view at a time when it wasn't breathtaking, except perhaps when low cloud obscures everything.   Indeed I have already blipped it this year , but at sunrise not when he sun is beginning to set. 

I took this  panorama around 4.00 pm on my way back from the monthly constituency meeting in Tarbert.  The light was beginning to fade and there was  a dusting of snow on the top of the long ridge that looms over Loch Riddon and Colintraive.
