Colossus

We woke to find a huge cruise ship had docked in the (not very huge) harbour. Rather worried that Funchal would be packed with people as a result, but they must all have gone on tours of the island as the town was Sunday-sleepy and quiet. Lovely. We've strolled, lazed and read. Then heard the booming ship's hooter late afternoon and watched it's departure from our balcony. A whistle-stop visit!
