Silly carrot

Emergency blip as we were out most of the day.  Sad afternoon with C's mother who was very distressed and confused.  Then a mad dash to the "party" shop where I'd ordered helium balloons for my mother's birthday.  It's not until Tuesday but the shop closes at 5pm and doesn't open again until Tuesday (by which time we'll be on our way to see her).  We left C's mother at 4.55, having forgotten all the above...Luckily we were able to get hold of the owner and she stayed on until we got there.  Phew!  C picked this from the garden.
