Hair today gone tomorrow

Had a lovely walk out today with the 3 dogs. The afternoon sun was beginning to fade as we got home and a chill filled the air. Perhaps Spring being just around the corner is a little premature and still only an illusion. Having said that, the snow drops are out and the daffodils are stretching the soil, pushing their way through towards the lengthening days.
Walking three dogs and taking all the accompanying items meant that yet again I forgot my camera. I caught sight of this beside the chair when I got in and spent a few minutes deciding which way to shoot it to get the most interesting shot.
