There may be trouble ahead

The wife of a good friend contacted me to ask could she stay with me for a "day or two" while in Ireland. I agreed out of a perceived duty to an old friend. So off to the airport with me to collect her..... I thought a nice lunch with a view of Dublin Bay would be appreciated but seemingly I know nothing. Though I did realize later that it was about perceived expense though I had intended paying. I should have dropped her at a hotel....just saying
