Gulvain
Anniversary walk time again. After a very wet run from Fort William to Lundavra then back via the (closed) West Highland Way, today we drove to Loch Eil.
A long trudge up Gleann Fhionn Lighe in light drizzle then a 700m slog onto the snowy ridge of Gulvain. No visibility at all but one walker had beaten us to the summit and broken a good trail through the snow drifts.
Typically, the weather improved on the descent so the summit was almost clear when we reached the glen floor. Here is Mrs AB contemplating the long walk back out.
