A Rapa nui (easter island) princess. Ela is loving being an island dancer.... Wow today i wish blip was in video... Ela is so graceful and passionate! Next month will be the yearly national day- the 18th of September.. Which supposedly celebrates the birth of the chilean nation at its independence from Spain. On this day many schools celebrate by performing traditional dances from Chile's varied cultures, which politically include rapa nui, but culturally, historically, geographically etc.... well I'd just like to point out that it's in a DIFFERENT CONTINENT!
Anyway, Ela has been asked to represent the Rapa nui culture and she is loving it. Here she is doing her thang!
