Photography fun!
After an amazing breakfast (we skipped the cod liver oil on offer) we headed straight down to Sólfar, my all time favourite statue, for some shots as the sun came up. There was only one problem...some people think that they are invisible.
We also made it up to Hallgrímskirkja before setting off on our drive to Vik, Tim had black sand and dramatic cliffs on his mind. On the way we managed both Seljalansfoss and Skógafoss waterfalls and we had just about every concievable weather on the way - including snow storm in the pitch black on the way home.
Dinner was at Sjávargrillid, lovely food but enough make you immobile for the rest of the evening.
Final touch - some (very faint) aurora from the roof terrace of the hotel. Unfortunately there is unlikely to be much more tonight as the clouds were coming in.
Check out the extras for the lazy way to photograph your friend and the invasion of the tripods...
