Up early after another night of not much sleep, to do a few chores at home, then on to see Dad with his paper and to chat about Mum and how she is doing. And to explain again that we need to research nursing homes. Once he was settled and the washing done I went to Lin's with all my paper work, and we spent several hours researching nursing homes, reading C.Q.C. reports and emailing the ones that sounded the best for her and for us to visit. I was so grateful not to have to do this on my own.
Then back to explain it again to Dad what I have done so far. Gave him his tea and had a cuppa with him, then I went home to cook dinner as Harry and Selena are coming back after spending the week in Dorset with Selena's parents. Lovely to have them back. I tried to fill Harry in with what is happening with Jeanie, (everyone calls Mum that). We both had a bit of a cry.
This amaryllis has done really well to grow and start flowering since Christmas. Dad quite likes it.
