28mm on a t3i

got my 28mm lens today (a JCPenny Diamatic m42 mount lens at 2.8)

so snapped a photo of my mom

she looked at itand told me "I look like your grandpa".
after reviewing this photo on my computer I'm inclined to agree. She has his eyes and smile.
