Mono

For MonoMonday - From my [car] Window. Thank you to KangaZu for hosting.

So D-in-law's café opened for business for the first time at 9am (don't think the workers got to bed much earlier than that) but closed at 10am as the grand coffee machine broke down - all good by 11am and after I had had some routine blood tests, we went for a proper paying lunch with friends at 12noon and the place was packed.  Too many cooks running about in the small kitchen so we left and I went to Hobbycraft, Bridgemere to get some embroidery threads and bits of materials to finish off my piece of free motion embroidery FME.  En route is where I stopped the car to take the lovely clumps of Snowdrops in a Farmer's field.  The Farmer came up behind me in his huge 4X4 so I couldn't hang around too long - Not sure if I saw a 12bore sticking out of the back of the truck?!!

Going back to the café tonight to see how the rest of the day has gone for the busy crew.  It's been a horrid, miserable and grey day here with some spiteful rain showers so I expect people were pleased to nip inside the café for a warm and a nice hot cuppa and a piece of G's wonderful array of homemade cakes - there are plenty of other delicious items on the menu too.
