Morning Skies over Plumpton

A patch of clear sky moved eastwards over this part of Sussex during the course of the morning, a welcome respite from the layer of grey cloud that has been overhead for much of the past few days.

This view (and today's 'Extra') were taken just after 9am from a familiar viewpoint at the north end of Plumpton Parish, alongside the road that heads southwards from the southern tip of Chailey Common.
