In the Night (Beer) Garden

Met up with a friend JR for his birthday, who I've not seen in a few years and has just moved back to Scotland. Had some haggis in Dirty Dick's, which he chose partly because he doesn't know many places in Edinburgh and partly I suspect because of the slightly immature name. And their menus are served in Beano and Dandy (RIP) annuals.
I did appreciate the barman was pretty up front when going through their ales on tap.

You can have this ale over here or you can have this one which is watered down, tasteless crap.

Went for a little beer with the Mrs at the Cumberland on the way, a little chill time before it all goes mental for the next couple of days. It's summer I thought, let's sit in the garden. It was freezing.
