My favourite band in the whole world, and this was about the 13th time I've seen them (each time with my best friend in the whole world), and we agreed that this was the best gig we've ever seen of theirs. So many memories, so many emotions, both of us were in tears at one point (as were the crowd around us!)... absolutely stunning.

It was also the closing concert for the Olympics so we got to see some finals on the big screens, and the atmosphere in Hyde Park was amazing, everyone cheering at the screens and gasping whenever anyone missed the high jump.

I expected to miss the whole of the Olympics, being in France, but I'm really glad that I got to experience a bit of Olympic fever that had taken over my home city :)
