Now that's what I call a Maypole.

The Maypole is one of the many pieces of history dotted around the centre of St Johann.
A new one is put up each year on the 1st May and remains in place until the autumn when it it's taken down and chopped up. The locals can then take some away to keep them warm throughout the winter.
