Daddy Longlegs ...

The big eye of the camera stops her while she moves quickly through the foliage. It is the female of the arachnid harvestman, aka Daddy Longlegs. One moment she sits in front of the lens.
I use two small strobes that are mounted to the front of the lens. This flashes away the remains of the existing light. It is striking that these animals, like insects, amphibians and reptiles seem to ignore the flashlight completely.
If you have time you can find here some details of the Opiliones, as their scientific name is ... ;)
