Under the Tay Road Bridge

Out with my Monday morning walking group along Dundee waterfront. The new Slessor Gardens will be a real asset to the city, although they are looking a bit bleak at the moment. Despite living nearby in Perth, I hardly know much of Dundee; I could see there is a lot to photograph there.

This is the view under the Tay Road Bridge. From above, it's functional but unlovely, so the elegance of the pillars was a surprise.
